Class of 2020

Student Testimony

I wanted to come to a school that offered a different learning environment than what I was used to. Out of all the schools I looked at, Vermont Commons was my favorite.

The environment here is really open, and my teachers are available to talk at any time. How many schools do you go to where you get to call your teachers by their first names? The teachers are open to listening to us and the classes are really great, too.

I studied pre-algebra in Math and geography in Social Studies last year. In World Languages, we spent the year learning Mandarin first semester and then Spanish in the second semester. Then we decided what language we will pursue for the next five years. I have a Spanish heritage, so I already knew that was what I will be taking, but I like that we have the choice. You should go to Vermont Commons, because it’s awesome!
