Naomi Heindel, ’03

Brief Biography

Naomi is a graduate of Vermont Commons School and lives in Jackson, WY. As Director of Field Education at Teton Science Schools, she manages residential place-based outdoor science programs in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and surrounding public lands. She also directs Teton Science Schools’ AmeriCorps program, an educator development national service program for early career environmental educators. Naomi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Earth Science from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Environmental Science from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. She loves hiking, skiing, canoeing, cooking, reading, and playing music with her husband and toddler.
