Brief Biography

I have played and taught music around Chittenden County since my high school days at Essex High School. I received my B.S. in Music Education from UVM in 2012. My primary instruments are saxophone and bass, though I enjoy playing piano, trumpet and any instrument I can get my hands on!

On top of teaching at VCS I am also a faculty member at the Vermont Jazz Camp. I love running (and coaching the VCS Cross Country Team) and received a Specialist Certificate in Jazz Arranging and Composition from Berklee College of Music in April 2020. You can see me on weekends performing with various local bands including Barika, A House On Fire and High Summer.
