Bethany Gibbs

Brief Bio

Bethany has harbored a secret desire to attend VCS after she discovered its existence when she moved to Vermont 17 years ago. She is quite happy to satisfy that desire as a parent to 6th grader Talia and by serving on the Board of Trustees.

Bethany grew up in Connecticut with her parents and three sisters. She attended the University of Rochester where she received her B.A. in Environmental Science. Bethany received her Master’s in Public Health in Environmental Health from Boston University.

She divides her time between Shelburne and Stowe with her husband, daughters and husky, Bodhi. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and snowboarding.

Bethany served on the Board of Directors for the ECHO Center for 7 years and currently serves on the Board at the Bellwether School.
