Best VCS Moment
Just Dance sessions during Morning Meeting! I love the spirit, joy, and silliness we all share in those moments!
Inspirational Quote
“The trouble is that we have a bad habit, encouraged by pedants and sophisticates, of considering happiness as something rather stupid. Only pain is intellectual, only evil is interesting. This is the treason of the artist; a refusal to admit the banality of evil and the terrible boredom of pain.”
― Ursula K. LeGuin

Brief Biography
I grew up in Windham, Maine with my parents and older brother. My mom had a huge influence on me, as she has been an art teacher for almost 20 years. After high school, I attended Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, where I had the opportunity to teach in an elementary school art program and found my passion for teaching art. I then transferred to Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where I spent the rest of my college career. After graduation, I began teaching art at Franklin Middle School in Franklin, NH. After spending some time on vacations with my partner in Charlotte, I knew I wanted to live here someday. This dream led me to Vermont Commons, where I couldn’t be happier to teach such a wonderful community of students!
