VCS to Host Model U.N.

This coming Friday and Saturday, March 21st and 22nd, Vermont Commons School will be hosting a student planned Model United Nations conference.  The conference will focus on World War One in Europe, represented by four committees, (German Empire, Russian Empire, Austro Hungarian Empire, French Republic) which will operate in a Joint Crisis format.

The conference will run from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday evening and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday.  Refreshments and food will be provided, but delegates are recommended to bring any food that they wish to have during the conference.  It should be noted that eating will not be allowed during committee.

The conference will have approximately 32 delegates from six local schools, as well as a total of 12 chairs, directors, organizers, writers and tech support from VCS.  The cost per delegate is $15.00 which covers food and materials.
